The first record of European roller Coracis garrulus for Nepal
Abstract
European Roller Coracis garrulus was recorded for the first time in Nepal. The roller bird was first spotted and photographed on 29 August 2021, at 15hr30 from Kekighan, Lomanthang Rural Municipality Ward number-5, Upper Mustang (29º 10.779’ N, 83º 58.218’E) at an elevation of 3781 m inside the Annapurna Conservation Area.
