We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Prof. Dwij Raj Uprety, former Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology and former head of the Central Department of Zoology, Tribhuvan University. He was an outstanding scholar, an inspiring teacher, and a kind human being whose contributions to zoological studies in Nepal will always be remembered.
